Listed below are useful websites containing information about employment law issues. Some sites require a subscription to access particular services but all the sites are either free or have sections of their websites providing free information.

Citizens Advice Bureaux

Provide information on a range of employment law topics. Local CAB offices can often help with basic employment law advice and can be found in most towns.

This site trawls the internet for employment law information and then edits and synthesises it into a searchable database; part of which is free and part is subject to paid subscription. In the free section of the site you can obtain basic information on a wide range of employment law topics

This is the main government site for businesses and contains a lot of useful employment law information for both employers and employees. It includes a search facility 
Provides a wide range of employment law information which can be accessed through a search facility.  ACAS also provides basic help and advice by phone.

This site is for small and medium sized employers and offers advice on a range of business topics; including employment law.
TUC 
TUC [Trades Union Congress] the umbrella organisations for trades unions has a lot of useful information on employee rights. 
The Department of Work and Pensions is a UK government site providing employment law and related information for employers and employees. 
Provides a free searchable database of statutes, case law and other legal materials for UK and other jurisdictions.
The Health and Safety Executive.  A government agency site containing  a wide range of health and safety information.
 
Office of Public Sector Information
Contains information from the Public Records Office, including copies of all UK acts of parliament and regulations since 1867 including those relating to employment law.
Provides information on a range of legal topics including employment law; particularly in relation to regulatory matters.
The official government site providing statistical data including employment law.
This is a section of the main European Union website which deals with social and employment law matters.

The Times Newspaper

The times newspaper has a search facility and publishes useful articles on employment law
