Tim Hart-profile:
I combine a rigorous understanding of the law with practical managerial experience to provide a superior service in employment law and employment practice for my clients. 
 
I qualified as a barrister in 2001 having previously worked extensively in business and as a senior academic. I am a member of the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn and hold the following professional and academic qualifications by examination:
 
  • Barrister-at-law
  • Master in Business Administration
  • Fellow Chartered Inst. of Personnel Devt.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Law
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies
  • Member Chartered Institute of Management
  • Member Chartered Institute of Bankers
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education

 

I have worked as a general manager and a personnel manager in the private and public sectors. I have undertaken consultancy projects for a wide variety of organisations including:  London Underground Ltd. The Isle of Man Education Dept. Toshiba Medical Systems, and The Leonard Cheshire Foundation.  

 

 

I have been an examiner for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development dealing with Fellow, Member and Technician level candidates for BPP Law, Lloyds TSB, and Crown Agents.  
 

I have published conference papers and journal articles on environmental management, human resourcement management and employment law. I worked as a journalist for the Manx Independent newspaper whilst lecturing at the Isle of Man College.

 

I lectured for many years in personnel management and employment law on professional and post-graduate programmes. I have been a visiting lecturer to the University of Brighton, New England College, University of Chichester and University of Portsmouth.
